plug-ins that add to WordPress’ functionality, allowing you
to do some truly amazing things with a site built around
this powerful but simple content management system.

The problem is that most of us don’t know which plug-ins
we should be using on our sites.  We don’t know which ones
work properly, we don’t know which ones introduce security
issues, and we simply don’t have the time or know-how to

Many people in Internet marketing look at free
list-building giveaways, and view them as largely
unproductive. Yet, when properly set-up and
orchestrated, you can build a very focused list
of your ideal customers, in ANY niche, faster
using free giveaways (with less risk) than about
any other method that I can think of.

In Internet marketing, the saying is “the money
is in the list,” and that’s because many list
owners have learned that they can expect to earn
an average of $1 per list-member per month. That
of course varies by niche, by what types of
products and service you offer your subscribers,
and how skillful the list owner is at building
a solid relationship with list-members.

I personally have known people who used free
list-building giveaways to grow their businesses
to the point where they comfortably walked away
from corporate jobs. One friend walked away from
a six-figure job mere months after he started a
serious list-building campaign.

About Steve Lindhorst

Steve Lindhorst’s eBay journey began when he took a one-day temp
job at eBay in March, 2000 and after three months, became a
“regular” employee and worked as such for about two years.

Steve’s work with eBay shifted when he was contracted to teach
eBay University on the national level. This was an exclusive
group of six other instructors that traveled the U.S. teaching
people how to sell on eBay. Eventually he was also asked to be
the sole outside instructor for eBay University for Motors,
teaching auto dealers all across the country how to sell on eBay
Motors.

As eBay changes have occurred, Steve has shifted to a more
generalized consulting role for online sellers. He says, “I have
always related to small sellers the most. I’m a small seller
myself, and I get great pleasure out of helping them get their
start in ecommerce.”

Many eBay sellers have moved over to selling on “the river.”
This was a phrase used by many eBay sellers on the discussion
boards to discuss Amazon, without actually using Amazon’s name.
A lot of eBay sellers choose to sell on both platforms, as some
items sell better on eBay, and others do better on Amazon.

Steve’s most recent ebook focuses on the sometimes difficult
task of finding a niche market in which to sell. “The Niche
Book” discusses many methods to find a niche, and then tells you
how to exploit that niche in a wide variety of ways.
